Question You ever been at work stressed out off something personal going on in your life?

and keep fucking up, and thinking to yourself, why am i even here right now? i can't focus on this?

i'm sure everyone's gone through this at least once in your life....

how do you deal wit it? how do you keep your mind off the personal things happening in your life and focus on what your supposed to be doing?

how do you just block the thoughts running through your mind? or just stop them all together?

i can't tell you personally what to do

When my Mom got sick, man i was at work stressed out, didn't talk to no one, just wanted to leave work and never go back. it wasn't happy until she got better.

I think it's hard to get rid of stress when it comes to family

dude i totally can't ever get any work done when i'm pre-occupied unless i must get shyt taken care of... it always helps when my mind is occupied but like me... when things are weighin heavy on my brain, the best distraction for me is talkin to ppl... ANYONE to get my mind off shyt cause if not my mind continues to think and wander and UGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

dude i had a serious depression like 1 year ago...i dont know how they call this "sickness "in america..its when your feeling from postiv to negativ jumps around...1 min u think u the king of the world, next min u are standing on the bride, not knowin what to do, jump or write a poem...i still have this sickness but now i go to the Dr, i get sertralin, and that helps to stay on the grind - back then, the sickness came out of nowhere, i dint know what was goin on, i was at work thinkin bout killin my self and all that..that shit was fucked up man..word..yo i know how u feel

i'm usually good at blocking things out and focusing on what i need to get done, but somethings are just too heavy on the mind and get through....

thats when i hate it....especially when you work in a stressful enviornment, and your already on the edge ready to snap....

its like your already as stressed out as you wanna be, so you think to yourself, why should i deal with more stress??

it gets to the point where you even feel the money's not really worth it....

i mean it probably all depends what you do, where you work, and how much you make....but i'm sure some of yall can relate....

I can never miss work or not perform according to standards because of some emotional dilemma...

Like FRS said, you have to learn to quarantine your emotions if they are affecting your performance...

One way you can achieve this is by rationalizing your problem and potential solution...Thinking of solutions rather than thinkin of the problem is more likely going to calm you down...
