No stickying is required. The 0-day thread will always be at or near the top of the board because it's always the most posted-in thread.

The other option is that we could start splitting this board up into child boards and start really getting organized. A sub-board for 0-days, a sub-board for DC back issues, a sub-board for Marvel back issues, etc. We'd obviously have to get clearance for that from higher up, but I think we've reached the point where we can take this little piracy operation to the next level.

Nah that's getting too Nazi. People talk, that's what they do. It's not like people talk all the time, this is primarily for uploading files but each thread is going to get buried the next week anyways so a few extra messages on each thread wouldn't be a huge problem IMO.

Also, I am also against separating Marvel from DC from Vertigo etc. It just makes more threads and more clutter.

Personally, I would prefer if there was a sub forum for 0-day comics, with a new thread each week. That way you can look back on previous weeks if you realize that you missed something, and you don't have to sort through 100's of posts to find the current or past weeks issues.

Putting it on a sub forum would also prevent the main comics forum from becoming cluttered with all of those weekly threads.

I don't like the idea of separating Marvel, DC, etc. into different sections though. Most people read comics from more than one publisher, and it would be more of a hassle to get what you want. Also, being able to see everything in one spot allows you to find comics you wouldn't normally have noticed.

Another thing that would be nice, is having the first post in the thread be a list of all links. What I mean by this is that when you look at the first post, you see something like:

Ok, my opinion: forget the sub-forums; it's an unnecessary complication; go ahead and create a new thread each week, whoever creates the new thread has the responsibility of posting a list of the new comic's for the week; the thread title should contain the word 0Day, and the date.

1. All comic's should be posted in the same thread, regardless of publisher.

2. No more than one link from one host, people have different preferences so don't limit it to just RS or Mediafire; if you post a link on one host and find out someoe has posted before you using the same host, then delete it.

3. I'm not sure about the whole one cover thing, I dont see how it matters unless you're on a 56k modem, in which case the number of covers is the least of your problems...


Whatever you decide, run it by buk, he's the mod for this section, I just post here 'cos I'm reading 'em anyway so I figure I might as well share; happy comicing.
